In this short series, I communicate my frustration with how the west handle sustainability. For me, sustainability is intrinsic with sustaining human spirit. If we are not protecting nature in its intact form now, we are not protecting those at the front lines of climate change. We are not sustaining our humanity. Society continues to devour sustainability and what it means to be sustainable until we hit another brick wall of the consequences of capitalism.
